Treatments
Keratin treatments are a de-frizzing process, which return the sheen and gloss of your hair and loosens any curl texture. Frizz develops once the outermost layer of your hair– the cuticle– is damaged. This strips the hair of moisture and exposes it to the environment. As keratin is a protein, it repairs damaged hair and prevents breakage while giving the hair a glossy and straight look. The results of the treatment last up to six months.
If you are not willing to commit to a keratin treatment, a hot oil treatment may be an option for you. Although it does not loosen curls, it repairs and nourishes hair. Hot oil is applied to dry hair divided into sections to drench every strand. It is left in for 30-60 minutes and then rinsed out, followed by a conditioning wash.
